Refund/Return Policy

Sky Gems Promise To You

We take pride in delivering finely crafted, high-quality jewelry designed to last for generations. Each piece is carefully inspected prior to shipment to ensure it meets our standards of craftsmanship, structural integrity, and aesthetic excellence.

 

We value your trust and stand behind our products. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer the following return and exchange options in accordance with California consumer protection laws.

Our Policy

Return Eligibility

 

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

 

To qualify for a return:

    •    The item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition

    •    All original packaging, certificates, tags, and documentation must be included

    •    The item must show no signs of wear, resizing, damage, or alteration

    •    Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required

 

Items returned that do not meet these standards may be declined.

Non-Returnable Items

 

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for refund:

    •    Custom-designed or made-to-order pieces

    •    Engraved or personalized jewelry

    •    Resized rings (after modification)

    •    Special order gemstone pieces

    •    Clearance or marked “Final Sale” items

 

Because many Sky Gems pieces are handcrafted or modified upon request, we encourage customers to confirm sizing and specifications before ordering.

Refund Options

 

If your return is approved, you may choose one of the following:

 

A. Original Payment Refund

 

A refund will be issued to your original form of payment within 7–10 business days after inspection and approval.

 

Shipping charges (including expedited shipping) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect.

 

B. Store Credit

 

You may opt to receive full store credit for the purchase price. Store credit:

    •    Never expires

    •    Can be applied toward any future Sky Gems purchase

    •    Is often processed faster than original payment refunds

 

C. Item Exchange

 

We are happy to offer exchanges for:

    •    Different sizes

    •    Alternate gemstones

    •    Similar styles within equal value

 

If exchanging for a higher-priced item, the price difference must be paid prior to shipment. If exchanging for a lower-priced item, the difference may be issued as store credit.

Quality & Craftsmanship Guarantee

 

At Sky Gems, quality is foundational to our brand.

 

Each piece is:

    •    Crafted using high-grade precious metals (such as solid gold, white gold, platinum, or sterling silver)

    •    Set with genuine, ethically sourced gemstones

    •    Professionally polished and inspected before shipment

    •    Securely set to industry durability standards

 

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

 

Manufacturing defects may include:

    •    Loose stones due to improper setting

    •    Structural weaknesses in metal

    •    Faults not caused by impact, misuse, or wear

 

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper storage, exposure to chemicals, or third-party modifications are not considered manufacturing defects.

 

If a defect is confirmed, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.

 Return Process

 

To initiate a return:

    2.    Include your order number and reason for return

    3.    Await return authorization instructions before shipping

 

Unauthorized returns may be declined.

 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a confirmed defect or fulfillment error. We strongly recommend insured and trackable shipping, as Sky Gems is not responsible for lost return shipments.

Processing & Inspection

 

Once your return is received:

    •    Inspection will occur within 3–5 business days

    •    You will be notified of approval or denial

    •    Approved refunds will be processed promptly

 

If an item shows signs of wear or damage inconsistent with a standard inspection, a partial refund or return rejection may apply.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

 

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. Filing a payment dispute without contacting us may delay resolution and could require additional documentation of delivery confirmation, product condition, and policy acknowledgment.
